In the first lecture of the Let’s Catch Freedom! series, we discussed the life, work and ideas of Adam Smith. His work The Wealth of Nations was published in 1776 and still counts as a foundation of economic thought. It has recently been translated in Slovenian language.
For this occasion, we invited Bernard Brščič, MA, from the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, who also wrote the introduction to the Slovenian translation of the book. Brščič is a connoisseur of classical economic thought and a great teacher who loves to share his knowledge with students and others interested.
