Liberty Seminars 2014

The 7th annual Liberty Seminars, were held between 22-27 September, 2014 at Hotel Jezero, Lake Bohinj, Slovenia. The partners of the project were the Cato Institute from the United States, the Centre for Research into Post-Communist Economies from the United Kingdom, and the Institute for Economic Analysis (IEA) from the United Kingdom. 

The Liberty Seminars are a life-time opportunity to DISCUSS, PRESENT & DEBATE human rights, markets, public policies, and law in the breathtaking scenery of the Julian Alps. Two one-week seminars—Liberty Camp and Liberty Academy—provide the attendees with an opportunity to discuss current economic and political topics through the lens of classical liberal ideas.

   

The Liberty Seminars are one of a kind project as they bring together a widely diverse group of attendees and lecturers, both in terms of their national and cultural backgrounds, as well as their professional and educational paths. In fact, the first six editions of project brought together more than 300 participants from 44 countries,

 

The participants of the Liberty Seminars are challenged every step of the program, as small group discussions, presentations, and group debates provide an excellent platform for sharpening the mind and skills. The Liberty Seminars are offered as an accredited course within the Atlas Leadership Academy.

The participants and lectures of the Liberty Seminars take one afternoon off their intense academic program to enjoy Slavica waterfall and Lake Bohinj.
