Let’s Catch Freedom! #9:
Efficiency of Slovenian Courts
9 September 2011
Hotel City, Maribor.
Admission was free for all participants.
A functional legal and judicial system is crucial for the effective rule of law. Many countries are facing delays in legal procedures and the declining efficiency of judges. Slovenia is no exception. In this event, we tackled questions like "How efficient are Slovenian courts?", "What motivates judges and their coworkers to work more and better?" and others. In pursuit of the answers, we were joined by Katarina Zajc, PhD, a law professor at the University of Ljubljana and a member of the Judicial Council of Slovenia.
