Lets Catch Freedom #39: FOR privatization, FOR depoliticization

The petition ZA privatizacijo, ZA depolitizacijo gospodarstva! ("FOR privatization, FOR depoliticization of the economy!") was signed by more than 11000 supporters in only twenty days.

Admission was free for all participants.

On Saturday a public forum was organized at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce. 

The following Slovenian entrepreneurs, academics, researchers and other public figures presented their reasons for the support of the petition:

- Dr. Damir ČRNČEC, director of the NGO European Slovenia;

- Mr. Igor AKRAPOVIČ, founder and CEO of the company Akrapovič;

- Mr. Andrej MERTELJ, founder and CEO of the company Datalab; (via Skype) 

- Dr. Egon ZAKRAJŠEK, Associate Director of the Federal Reserve; (via Skype)

- Mr. Marjan BATAGELJ, founder and CEO of the company Postojnska jama d.d.;

- Dr. Igor MASTEN, associate professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana;

- Dr. Žiga TURK, former Minister for Education, Science, Culture and Sport and currently a professor at the University of Ljubljana;

- Mr. Tomaž ŠTIH, organizer of the petition; (via Skype)
